Lion Grappler To Wrestle In College For the Hawks

Lions Compete @ 2016 AHSAA State Wrestling Championships

Five Prattville Lions participated in the 2016 AHSAA State Wrestling Championships Feb. 18-20.  The team placed 8th and had two individual members place.  Terence Perkins placed third in the 160 lb. weight class, and Robbey Killough won the 145 lb. weight class.  For his efforts Killough was named the 7A “Most Outstanding Wrestler” for the

Lion Wrestlers compete at the Hewitt Pools

Yesterday the Lion Wrestlers placed fifth at the “Hewitt Pools”.  Individual results are as follows: Tristan Powell @ 132 lbs. Reese Gann 3rd @ 138 lbs. Lion Wrestlers picking up steam

This past weekend the Lion Grapplers placed fourth at the “Red Devil Duals” in Phenix City.  They followed that up with tri-meet victories last night over Jeff Davis and Catholic.  The Lions will participate in the “Swede Umbach Invitational” this weekend at Auburn High School.  Many of the schools in the Lions south section will

PHS Lion Wrestlers start the Season @ the Hewitt-Trussville Duals

The young Lion Grapplers had a tough go at the Hewitt-Trussville Duals last Wednesday.  Seniors Reese Gann, Terrance Perkins, and Robbey Killough all went undefeated for the day.  All the other Lions fought hard and just need some seasoning.   The Lions travel to Opelika High School for a Tri-Meet with Opelika and Robert E.
